How to improve your listening skill

To be successful at our job, we must be able to write, speak, and listen effectively. Of these three skills, effective listening may be the most crucial because we are required to do it so often. Unfortunately, listening also may be the most difficult skill to master.

In the fact, listening is difficult for you, for us and for most the people. You must rightly focus on what the speakers is saying and then understand about what they talk.

You can use the following techniques to improve our skill in the Listening:

1. You must concentrate on what others saying. It can be important so that effective communication can occur.

2. You must send the nonverbal message to the speaker that you are listening.

3. You should avoid early evaluations.

4. You should also avoid getting defensive.

5. And then, you have to practice paraphrasing. You have to listen very carefully if you are going to accurately paraphrase what you heard.

In addition, listening skill can be improved when you always tried and effort. You should study hard again and again.
